Sri Satyanatha Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Satyanidhi Theertha. He comes in the lineage of Uttaradhi mutt.

Sri Narasimhacharya was born to Rukminibai & Krishnacharya. He got sanyasa ashrama from Sri Satyanatha Theertha two times, one as Ranganatha Yathi and other time as Sri Satyanatha Theertha and became head of Uttaradhi mutt. He was a fiery and prolific writer. He was contemporary of Sri Lakshminarayana Theertha of Sri Vyasaraja mutt. In his works, he is stated to have refuted Appayya Dixit’s criticism of Madhwa Siddhanta. Sri Satyanatha Theertha possessed many mystic powers. Just between Sangli and Miraj he created two wells by his Danda wherein if debtors and the deceased take bath, would be free from their debts and diseases.

Sri Satyanatha Theertharu
There are two big kavyas which describe in detail the life history of Sri Satyanatha Theertha. They are ‘Satyanathabhyudaya’ and ‘Satyanatha Vijaya’.
Sri Satyanatha Theertha gave Ashrama to Kesavacharya, named him as Sri Satyabhinava Theertha and handed over the Peeta. He entered Vrundavana in Veeracholapura.
