Sri Satyapriya Theertha was a great scholar par excellence and wrote many works. Some of his works are detailed commentary on mahabhashya, Tatvaprakashika Vivruthi, Chandrika Bindu and glosses on mandaka and mandukya Upanishad. He climbed Tirupati hills by holding the hands of his guru Satyapoorna Theertha reciting Nyayasudha. When he climbed the hills of Melkote for the darshan of lord Narasimha, the door was closed. On his very touch, the lock opened and lord gave him the darshan.
It is believed that Satyapriya Theertha defeated many pundits of opposition school of thought. One such pundit was Shyama kavi who was a poet of very high order. He wrote a drama in praise of Satyapriya Theertha.
Sri Satyapriya Theertha gave Ashrama to Ramacharya and named him as Sri Satyabodha Theertha. He handed over Peeta to Satyabodha Theertha and entered Vrundavana at Manamadhurai in Tamilnadu.
